kaynoxxcrafts:

So a few months ago I came across this design on Pintrest and laughed so hard that my ribs hurt.

Naturally I thought of my mum (a HUGE cat fan) and thought this would be great for her birthday.

However, I have absolutely no cross-stitch talent so my co-worker told me her daughter would make it for me!

I got it today and it’s absolutely perfect! I can’t wait to frame it and give it to my mum. ^.^

PS I’m not sure if she used a design or just worked from the picture I sent her but I found this site that has the chart to make it if anyone is interested. 🙂

“The Panda WIP bag.  I really did try to resist buying this fabric…”

absolutely. I stumbled over your page in a search. I love the bags!

Yay! Thanks so much! I think I will leave one aside for a giveaway and hopefully make more this summer to put in the shop. ^.^

“made myself a reversible WIP bag! That panda fabric used to be a pair…”

Awesome! I have a collection of bags and lined baskets that I use for projects. I even have a houndstooth bag similar to this that my sis made for me. Love it! Great job. = )

Thanks! I finally have more project bags than projects! Guess it’s time to start some more 😉

“I made my best friend a needle roll last Christmas and her mom was so…”

Nice job! I use an old case that belonged to my grandmother – will share by post soon! The only suggestion I can think of is to maybe lengthen the inside cover flap to cover the bottom row of needles? Or is that unnecessary? Awesome needle roll! =)

ooh, interesting thought! I put the flap there basically so that the needles in the top row wont fall out if the roll is tipped upside down.

The thing is, the roll turned out to be quite thick (I’m still experimenting with interfacing) so maybe if I make the flap bigger but use lighter interfacing it might balance out? I will have to play around with that next time.

Thanks for the thoughts!
